Two weekends of searching for things for school and this is what I came up with. I have more higher quality books...Any suggestions for anything I might need? Also, is there a resource that can rank books at reading levels for me so I don't have to read everything?

I just stole the clipboard management idea from this blog. I will also use the note home. I need to figure out a solid way to reward good behavior though.

beginning
I am meeting with my principal on the 29th to gather curriculum information. I have printed out the Colorado standards for the subjects I will be teaching and put them in a binder. Kelli and I went to goodwill to find things that I could possibly use in my classroom. We will probably keep visiting goodwill and other thrift stores throughout the summer with the same mission.

First Post
On August 16th, 2012, I will begin my journey as a teacher. I have accepted a 5th grade position. The purpose of this blog will be to record the events of my first year. Also, I will accept any help that is offered. The picture attached to this post is so that Kelli can attach this to Pinterest.
